May Day... May Day...

What a month, and our busiest on record....

As well as the location work for Visual Artists and shop launch for Neony that we previously blogged about at the beginning of the month we also managed to squeeze all this in...

We provided a lunch for our friends at Superhero for the shoot of a kids commercial at Camberwell Studios. The lunch included slow cooked spiced lamb and almond pilaf with labneh and pomegranate and smoked trout with Jersey Royals and radishes.

Next up was a canape, bowl food and bar service for a private 60th party for 70 people at The Camden Arts Centre in Hampstead. Menu items included melting pork belly and crackling with slow cooked white beans and salsa verde; a Persian tagine of sweet potato, cauliflower, walnuts and pomegranate; and heritage tomato and sourdough panzanella

Approaching the end of the month we travelled down to rural Gloucestershire to spend 2 days in a luxury cottage with Climate Care. We supplied lunch and dinner for 25 people including a BBQ featuring our famous jerk for their company get-away.

Finally on the 31st we provided canapes and bowl foods for 200 people at Blackall Studios for Ten Ltd where guests enjoyed a selection including... Mont Enebro cheese wrapped in charred courgette with honey and hazels; and a chicken, tarragon, leek and Jersey Royal fricassee.

Not to forget to mention on the 30th we launched our second series of Funthyme @ The Farm supperclubs at Spitalfields City Farm.

Phew!

In case you've been wondering....

... where we've been.

We were chained to the stove in December busy with christmas party after christmas party.

The silly season kicked off for us with an East End Knees Up at the George Tavern for ad agency Wieden + Kennedy. The W+K guys wanted this party to be as east end trash chic as possible.

We're talking Peggy Mitchell vol-au-vents, sausage rolls, pigs in blankets, cockles, chicken goujons, pork pies, cocktail sandwiches and scotch eggs along with a late night winter BBQ. Naturally we gave this brief a luxury homemade Funthyme twist - peeling quails eggs at 2am for 200 scotch quail eggs - you get the picture.

We provided an additional 4,500 canapes and bowl foods over the Christmas period for clients including Blackall Studios and Virgin Media. This is what they had to say.

January has been all about developing our new kitchen and we've managed to squeeze in a buffet lunch for Samsung and a private dinner for a 60th Birthday where scallop carpaccio; lamb rump and smoked aubergine; and rose and rhubarb panna cotta were on the menu.

Lots to look forward to 2012!

Wolff Olins - Best of British

Branding Agency Wolff Olins asked us to create a lunch buffet for a workshop involving some top dogs from the US. We designed a Best of British lunch buffet so the guys from The States could see what they're missing out on. This is what it looked like. We'd love you to know what it tasted like but computers aren't that clever yet.
